What We Store
Cached public social content used to render the widget (posts, media, captions, public profile identifiers, and public engagement metrics from the platform APIs), plus Dashboard account data (name, email, hashed password).
- Meta (Instagram / Facebook): access is via our system Meta credentials, not a Client password login in the Dashboard. Deletion means removing cached content and related brand/widget configuration we hold.
- TikTok (when enabled): we may hold an authorization token from the account owner until revoked or deleted.
- YouTube (when enabled): public API sync only; deletion removes our cached copies.
How to Request Deletion
Our Client (business using USocial): email support@usocialtool.com with subject "Data Deletion Request", your organization name, and which brand/account(s) or Dashboard user(s) to remove. We delete applicable cached content and Dashboard data, and revoke TikTok tokens if any, within 10 business days.
TikTok account owner who authorized us: revoke in TikTok Settings → Security / Apps and websites → remove USocial, and/or email us to delete cached content.
Someone whose public content appears in a Client widget: contact the business that embeds the widget, or email us. We will work with the Client to stop syncing and remove cached content we control.
Confirmation
We confirm by email once a deletion request is processed.
